Job Description

Industry Experience:

Extensive experience in Strategic Sourcing and in Procurement and supply chain management, in Manufacturing Environment, ideally in progressively responsible roles managing macro and micro responsibilities. (Establishing category management process and teams, developing standard policies and processes for multi-geographical work locations , develop supplier performance management framework and fostering commercial culture within the team)

Specific industry experience relevant to AMB is preferred (Modular Manufacturing Procurement, Interior production, Special component

 

Strategic Procurement Expertise:

Global souring experience (multi-sourcing and strategic sourcing) to identify global and local partners for long- and short-term agreements . Demonstrated proficiency in procurement processes, strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, supplier management, an unexpected disruptions or crisis procurement or supply chain.

Good awareness of procurement and planning-related software and tools, as well as a willingness to adopt and leverage new technologies for procurement efficiency.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliability and quality in the supply chain.

 

Strategic Thinking & Decision making:

The ability to develop and execute a procurement strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Experience in working in fast moving/fast changing environment.

Strong Analytical skills- analyzing and using data to make effective procurement decisions in support of fast-moving operations.

Problem-solving skills and a track record of optimizing procurement processes for cost savings and efficiency. Strong ability to make decisions for the company benefits.

 

Leadership Skills:

Experience in leadership and management, including team supervision and strategic decision-making Strong leadership and team management abilities.

The capacity to motivate and develop a high-performing procurement team. Team reorganization experience is preferred.

 

Communication Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for an effective internal and external stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

 

Ethical and Compliance Focus:

A commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with relevant policies laws and regulations (GCC/UAE/KSA)

 

Financial Acumen:

Financial analysis skills to assess the financial impact of procurement decisions. (cashflow and payment terms negotiation)  

Budget management experience.

 

Global and Local Cultural Awareness:

Experience or an understanding of global/UAE/KSA procurement practices and cultural nuances can be beneficial.

Experience

Min 10 years in Leadership in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Qualifications

CIPS L6 or equivalent, Master degree in Business management or equivalent
