Service Supervisor

Job Description

  • Carry out the assigned work independently on MTU and Volvo Penta products at sites and in the workshop
  • Perform servicing and function tests on the MTU and Volvo Penta products at sites and carry out repair maintenance and adjustment as required. Conduct acceptance test upon completion of work
  • Lead a team on any repair/assemble parts list quotation of MTU and Volvo Penta products either inhouse of at field service as and/ if required.
  • Check installation of MTU products, setting to work and commission =f MTU products together with customer representatives according to MTU standard and policies.
  • Provide status of work in hand and prepare travel report / service report upon completion of work (final report) or after return from an assignment that is not completed and to be continued in later time and maintain the service record (intermediate status report)
  • Deal with technical inquiries from customers to colleagues whether in the capacity of your own knowledge or by assisting experts in providing the clarification
  • Assist in ensuring quality control and order in work process in workshop and field regarding to time to time management, attire of service staff and communication with customer (representatives)Upkeep the cleanliness of workplace inhouse and on site
  • Observe the safety regulation of our company and eventual additional regulations as required by customers
  • Help/guide your team members if additional requirement like CICPA or other gate passes are required for a work that is under your responsibility.

  • Prepare quotations, Secure jobs and assembly
